Cabot Trail

The Mighty Cabot Trail

We came we conquered, well Rattletrap conquered really. She deserves an award for all the narrow, steep, windy roads. Much like the road to Tofino. Awesome views of the shoreline and farmland. Ok, we have to include the road construction too I guess!!

Stayed the night in Antigonish again (really liked the heated shower floors the first time)! The trek to Halifax the next day with a stop at the Museum of Industry in Pictou. It was great! Lots of artifacts large and small even locomotives.

Kevan was awesome driving into the information centre, which most times are towards the edge of town. Not in Halifax, right downtown on the waterfront. Did I mention I goofed with the pay parking machine and pushed the “day” button for parking only a mere $16.75!! So we made use of the time paid and wandered around the harbour front. Lots of vendors, tours, restaurants to be seen. Lovely weather was had (23C), apparently Nanaimo sucked with all that wind and rain!!

Well off to find a hotel- close, parking for Rattletrap, less than a mortgage payment, must love dogs!!

Settled in Halifax for a few days!
Ryanne and her personal care team!!

PS- There really is a Theodore the Tugboat!!
